Purpose of this placeholder

This page exists so the corporate website has a public privacy URL, a long-form reading surface, and a place for counsel to drop a completed policy. It is written at length on purpose: legal copy is often two thousand words or more, and the layout must remain calm on ink, at a measure of about sixty-five characters, without wrapping the body in gloss panels. Nothing here is advice. Nothing here creates rights beyond what applicable law already provides.

Nexus Fusion is a technology and investment parent company. This website is the public corporate presence of that parent. It is not a marketplace, not a fundraising portal, and not a service that issues founder or investor accounts. Because those products do not exist here, this placeholder does not describe profile databases, deal rooms, or identity graphs. If those products are ever built, this policy must be rewritten, not patched with a sentence.

Who we are

For the purpose of this placeholder, the controller of any personal information described below is Nexus Fusion Consults Limited, operating as Nexus Fusion. Enquiries may be sent to nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com or 0805 374 7478. We are based in Abuja, Nigeria, and publish this site for a global audience. Hosting, analytics, and future processors may sit in other countries. Counsel should add a registered street address and any representatives required by local law before launch. We do not invent a street here.

Treat every reference to “we” as the parent company operating this public website, and treat every reference to “you” as a visitor, correspondent, or other person who sends a message to the addresses published on the site.

What this site collects today

The public pages are static. Visiting Home, About, Companies, Insights, Contact, or the legal URLs does not create an account. There is no founder intake form that stores a pitch, and no investor portal that stores accreditation status. Contact messages are composed in your mail client and addressed to nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com. If you choose to write, you decide what to put in the name, address, and body fields of that message. We do not currently operate a server-side inbox on this website that stores those fields in a Nexus Fusion database.

Technical logs that a host generates in the ordinary course of serving a site — such as IP address, user agent, request path, and time — may be produced by the hosting platform. Those logs belong to the operation of a website, not to a marketplace identity system. Counsel should list the host and the retention period for such logs.

Analytics

Aggregate traffic measurement may be provided by Vercel Analytics. The intent is to understand whether pages load and which public URLs are read — not to build advertising audiences, not to score founders, and not to retarget visitors across the web. If analytics is disabled in an environment, the site still functions. This placeholder does not claim that analytics is anonymous in every jurisdiction; counsel must describe the actual configuration, including whether cookies or local storage are used.

We do not, on this site, run a marketing pixel for a social network, a conversion API for ads, or a session replay product that records form keystrokes. If those tools are added later, they require a new assessment, a new notice, and likely a consent mechanism.

Cookies and similar storage

A separate Cookies page exists as a sibling placeholder. In short: essential cookies may be required for the host to operate the site. There is no logged-in session cookie for founders or investors, because those products are not on this site. Browser controls can block non-essential storage. A later phase may add a consent banner if counsel requires it. Until then, do not treat this paragraph as a completed cookie notice under ePrivacy, NDPR, GDPR, or any other regime.

What we do not collect here

We do not collect government identity numbers through this website. We do not collect payment card data. We do not collect accreditation documents. We do not collect cap tables, pitch decks, or data-room files through a public upload. We do not ask children to create profiles. If a correspondent attaches sensitive material to an email, that is a choice they make in their mail client; it is not a feature of this site, and it is not an invitation to send special-category data.

Please do not send health information, trade-union membership, precise geolocation of a private individual, or copies of passports to the public contact address unless counsel has opened a channel that is designed for that purpose. The public mailbox is for group-level enquiries about the parent company.

How we might use correspondence

If you email nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com, we may read the message, store it in ordinary business mail, reply, and keep a record of the exchange for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and to meet record-keeping duties. We may share a message internally with people who need it in order to answer. We do not sell correspondence as a data product. We do not use public contact mail as a lead-scoring funnel for a marketplace that this site does not operate.

Automated scanning for spam, malware, and abuse may occur in the mail system. That is ordinary operation of email, not profiling of founders for investment decisions.

Processors and later systems

Environment variables exist so that Supabase or Cloudflare Turnstile can be attached later without changing the product shape of this public site. Those systems are not required for the site to boot. If they are enabled, this policy must name them, describe what they process, and state the locations in which they process it. Until they are enabled, do not assume that a visitor’s form fields are written to a Nexus Fusion database.

Turnstile, if introduced, would be used to reduce automated abuse of the contact path. It is not a surveillance product and should not be described as one. Supabase, if introduced, would need a dedicated description of tables, access control, and retention. Neither is a licence to add founder dashboards by implication.

Sharing

We may share information if required by law, to protect the company, or with processors who host the site or the mailbox under contract. We do not publish a visitor’s email on the site. We do not operate a public directory of correspondents. If the group later comprises operating companies, those companies are not automatically entitled to your message unless the message is about them and sharing is necessary to respond.

Retention

Counsel should set retention schedules. As a working placeholder: website logs follow the host’s default unless shortened; analytics follow the analytics provider’s configuration; correspondence follows ordinary business email practice. When a record is no longer needed, it should be deleted or archived under the group’s record policy. This paragraph is not a schedule.

International transfer

Because the site may be hosted outside Nigeria, and because visitors may write from anywhere, information can cross borders. Counsel must describe transfer mechanisms that apply — including, where relevant, NDPR, GDPR Chapter V, and any other local rules. This placeholder only flags that transfers are likely, not that they are already assessed.

Your choices

You may decline to send a message. You may use browser controls to limit cookies. You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, to the extent the law gives you that right. You may complain to a supervisory authority where one exists. For this website, start with nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com. We may need to verify that a request comes from the person concerned. We will not invent an account dashboard to fulfil that request.

Children

This website is written for a general corporate audience. It is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through these pages. If you believe we have received such information, write to nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com so it can be removed from correspondence files.

Security

No public website or mailbox is perfectly secure. We take reasonable steps appropriate to a public corporate site. Do not send secrets, passwords, or private keys to the public contact address. If a security issue affects this site, we will handle it as a corporate incident, not as a marketplace data-breach playbook for user accounts that do not exist.

Changes

This placeholder will be replaced. When a completed policy is published, the date and a short description of material changes should appear here. Continued use of the site after that publication is not a substitute for whatever consent or contract the completed policy requires.

Records and archives

Parent companies keep ordinary corporate records: correspondence, vendor contracts for hosting, and copies of public pages. Those records are not a substitute for a completed retention schedule, and they are not a warehouse of founder applications. If an operating company later publishes its own site, that site should carry its own notice. This document covers the parent’s public website only.

Backup copies may exist for disaster recovery. Backups should follow the same access rules as live systems and should not be used as a parallel analytics store. Counsel should state how long backups of logs and mail are kept, and who can restore them.

Automated decision-making

This website does not make automated investment decisions, does not score visitors for credit, and does not admit or reject founders by algorithm. There is no ranking of startups on these pages. If a future product ever used automated decision-making that produced legal or similarly significant effects, that product would need its own disclosure. It should not be smuggled into this corporate site by a footnote.

Third-party links

Public pages may later link to operating companies, filings, or independent news. Those destinations have their own practices. Linking is not an endorsement of another organisation’s privacy posture, and it is not a joint controller arrangement unless counsel says it is. The empty companies index does not currently link to live holdings.

Language and accessibility

This notice is published in English because the public site is published in English. If a translation is added, the English text remains the working original until counsel says otherwise. Accessibility of the layout — including a skip link, reduced-motion, and a readable measure for this page — is a brand-system requirement; it is not a claim that every assistive-technology combination has been certified.

Governing notes for counsel

Before public launch, replace every section above with jurisdictionally accurate language. Name the legal entity, the registered office, the data protection officer if one is required, the host, the analytics configuration, the mail processor, and the retention schedule. Remove the word “placeholder.” Confirm whether NDPR, GDPR, UK GDPR, or other regimes apply because of establishment, targeting, or monitoring. This long-form page is a layout and honesty constraint, not a finished filing.

No advertising use

We do not sell personal information collected through this public website. We do not use contact mail to build lookalike audiences. We do not permit a data broker to scrape these pages for a founder graph. Advertising, if it ever appears, would be a new notice — not an inference from this placeholder. Until counsel finishes the policy, the conservative reading is: correspondence is for answering enquiries about the parent company, and traffic measurement is for operating the site.

Privacy questions about this public website: nexusfusionconsults@gmail.com. That address is for the parent company. It is not a whistleblowing portal, a data-subject API, or a founder helpdesk. If a more specific channel is required by law, counsel will add it.

Until the completed policy exists, the honest summary is this: the site is a public corporate presence; contact is email; analytics may measure traffic; there are no user accounts; and brand-system constraints on this website do not change the fact that only counsel can finish this document.
